Garage floors, shop floors, and countertops coated with 100% solids epoxy systems — prepped right, poured right, and finished with a durable topcoat. No rushed one-day shortcuts.
Four coating systems, one standard: surface prep done properly and materials that hold up to Idaho garages, shops, and winters. For garages, flake is our main floor — metallic is saved mainly for showrooms and showcase spaces. And metallic isn’t just for floors — countertops, shower surrounds, and other surfaces too.
Flake Epoxy Floors
01
Our flagship garage floor — the floor we mainly recommend for garages. A full-broadcast polymer flake system that hides concrete imperfections, adds grip, and stands up to hot tires, road salt, and shop traffic. For a working garage, flake is the practical, proven pick, and it’s also a strong fit for shops and workspaces.
Our main recommendation for garages — plus shops and workspaces
Wide range of flake blends and colors
Sealed with a UV-stable, chemical-resistant topcoat
Stem walls can be coated to match — just ask
Standard 1/4″ flake — 1/8″ and 1/16″ sizes available on request.

Metallic Epoxy Floors
02
A high-end, one-of-a-kind floor with flowing, marble-like movement in the finish. We position metallic mainly for showrooms, retail spaces, basements, and other interior showcase spaces — where the look is the point — not as our standard garage floor.
A real LSC metallic floor — this one poured inside a fifth wheel trailer.
Every floor is unique — no two pours alike
Deep, glossy, three-dimensional look — ideal for showrooms
Sealed with a durable protective topcoat
More than floors: we also do metallic epoxy on countertops, shower surrounds, bathroom vanities, and other surfaces — have a surface in mind? Ask us.
Honest heads-up — metallic can be slick: Metallic has a smooth, glossy finish and can be pretty slick given our local weather — especially with wet or snowy shoes in Idaho winters. That’s why we mainly keep garage floors with flake. We can absolutely do metallic for showrooms and showcase spaces, and if you’re considering it anywhere else, we’ll advise you on the slickness up front so you can decide.
Quartz Epoxy Floors
03
A decorative quartz broadcast system built for the hardest-working floors — extra texture, extra toughness, and a clean, uniform finish. Quartz is our only exterior system: because of our local Idaho climate, it’s the one system we put outside — on decks, patios, driveways, and sidewalks — as well as on interior shop and commercial floors. Flake, metallic, and solid color are interior-only.
Excellent slip resistance and durability
Great for shops, commercial, and wet areas
Our only exterior option — decks, patios, driveways, and sidewalks, because of the local climate
Strong chemical resistance, UV-stable finish
Countertops, Shower Surrounds & More
04
Countertops, shower surrounds, bathroom vanities & more in metallic epoxy — countertops are just one place metallic shines. For countertops, it’s the marble or stone look without the stone price or demolition. Epoxy is poured over your existing counters for a seamless, custom finish — and the same metallic epoxy can go on shower surrounds, bathroom vanities, and other surfaces.
A real LSC job: a metallic epoxy bathroom vanity top and backsplash.
Metallic / marble looks, custom colors and veining
Kitchens, bathrooms — including shower surrounds — bars, and shop counters
Finished with a heat- and chemical-resistant topcoat

Why Liquid Stone
Done Right, Not Done Fast
Plenty of companies sell a one-day floor. We install a multi-day system — because epoxy that is prepped, poured, and cured in the right order lasts. Bigger spaces simply take longer to do right.
Built to Last
100% solids epoxy with a proper topcoat — resistant to hot tires, chemicals, road salt, and everyday shop abuse.
Multi-Day System
We work in phases — prep and base coat first, then topcoat after the base has had real time to cure. A two-car garage is typically about two days; larger shops take longer. That patience is the difference.
Local & Owner-Operated
Based in Pocatello. You deal directly with Hector from the first call to the final walkthrough — no sales reps, no subcontractor roulette.
Se Habla Español

Phase One
Prep & Base Coat
Grind & repair — concrete is profiled and cracks are addressed so the coating bonds
Clean & mask — surface is vacuumed, edges and walls protected
Base coat + broadcast — epoxy goes down and flake or quartz is broadcast to full coverage
Phase Two
Topcoat & Finish
Scrape & vacuum — loose flake removed for a clean, even surface
Topcoat — durable, UV-stable clear coat seals everything in
Walkthrough — final check together, plus care and cure-time guidance
Why multi-day? One-day systems stack every step into a single visit to save time. Our multi-day process gives the base coat a real cure window before the topcoat goes on — a stronger bond and a floor that holds up longer. A standard two-car garage typically takes about two days; a full shop or large commercial space will take longer, and we’ll give you an honest timeline for your project up front.
How We Prep
Prep Done Right, Before Any Coating Goes Down
Every floor gets the same careful prep, step by step. This is how we actually do it — no degrease-and-go, no acid-etch shortcut.
Step 1
Inspect the Floor First
We inspect the floor for moisture, existing coatings, damage, and cracks before anything starts. Moisture is checked with a moisture meter right on the surface.
Step 2
Diamond Grinding — No Shortcuts
We do not degrease or wash first, and we do not acid-etch. We go straight to diamond grinding with two different professional machines, fitted with different diamond grinding teeth for the job. Oil spots are ground through along with the rest of the floor.
Step 3
Edges & Corners by Hand
Edges and corners are done with hand grinders, so the tight spots get ground just like the open floor — not skipped over.
Step 4
Cracks & Joints — On Request
Cracks and joints are filled only if you request it. When we fill them, we grind the fills flat so they sit level with the floor before coating.
Step 5
Walls, Drains & Doorways Protected
Walls, drains, and doorways are taped off as needed before coating, so nothing around the floor gets ruined.
Step 6
Vacuumed Clean
Once grinding is done, the floor is vacuumed clean — ready for coating, with grinding dust out of the way.
Step 7
Coated When Conditions Are Right
When timing allows, we can coat the same day prep is finished — as long as temperature and moisture are okay.

Cracks or Joints in Your Floor?
Crack and joint filling is available on request — just ask when you get your quote. Fills are ground flat before the coating goes down.
Oil-Stained Concrete?
Oil stains are handled by grinding through the stains as we grind the floor. No degreaser wash standing in for real prep.

After the Install
Caring for Your Floor
Simple habits keep a coated floor looking sharp. These are the care basics for the systems and topcoats LSC installs.
Day-to-Day Care
Wait before you park: with the Poly-1 HD topcoat, vehicle traffic is ready after 24 hours — we’ll confirm your exact timing at the walkthrough.
Sweep or blow it out regularly — grit and road dirt are what dull any floor over time.
Mop with mild soap and water when it needs more than a sweep. No harsh chemicals needed.
Wipe up oil and chemical spills when you see them rather than letting them sit.
Don’t drag sharp or heavy items across the floor — lift them, or use a mat or dolly.
Use mats under kickstands and jack stands so point loads don’t bite into the finish.
Getting Ready for Install Day
Clear everything off the floor — boxes, tools, bikes, and anything stored on the concrete.
Park vehicles outside for the multi-day process, until we clear the floor for traffic.
Keep kids and pets off the floor until we say it’s cleared.
Plan on coating smells during install — we ventilate as we work, and the smell fades as the coating cures.
Coating stem walls? Move anything stored on or against them so we can coat them to match.
Access: make sure we can reach water and power if needed — and let us know about gates, dogs, or alarms.
Local Service
Floors Built for Idaho Winters
Freeze-thaw cycles, road salt, and snow melt are hard on bare concrete. A properly prepped, multi-day coating system is how we help local floors stand up to all three.
Pocatello
Our home base. Garage floors here are mainly flake — our flagship for daily drivers, winter slush, and road salt. For patios, driveways, and sidewalks, quartz is the exterior system we install. Every install is a multi-day process, sized to the job.
Up the corridor, the same Idaho winter story: freeze-thaw and tracked-in snow. Flake is our main garage recommendation, quartz handles patios, driveways, and sidewalks outside, and installs run multi-day so each coat cures properly.
We take on jobs in the Twin Falls area too. Garages are mainly flake, outdoor concrete gets quartz, and the multi-day system gives coatings the cure time they need before Idaho weather tests them.
Building, turning units, or managing rentals? Liquid Stone Coatings handles the floors so your crews don’t have to. We schedule around your timelines and keep communication direct — you talk to Hector, the owner-operator.
